Cowboy Golden Lager w/Pale Export
Tonight with dinner I opened a bottle that had been sitting in the back of the refrigerator for 2 days and poured it down the side of a tall clean glass. The beer was a light golden color and remarkably clear with a tall head of foam. It had a nice balanced flavor that I can best describe it as being very drinkable, a real thirst quencher.
Surprisingly the head did not stick around too long, even though the beer had great carbonation the head seemed to disappear near the end of the glass and on subsequent refills. This might have been due to the recipe itself or some contamination with the food I had with it.
The next time around I will add at least 1/2 pack of Booster to the recipe to find out if the extra body it will add will also help with the head retention.
